About- Native to Mexico, this heirloom zinnia produces 4-5 inch wide cheerful yellow flowers that are sure to brighten up your garden. A favorite of crafters, florist and gardeners alike, Canary Bird is easy to grow with blooms lasting throughout the summer.

When and Where to Plant- Start indoors or direct sow, taking extra care if transplanting seedlings. Add compost in an area that is well draining as zinnias are susceptible to mildew.
