If you grow sweet corn under plastic here's an option you don't want to miss. About 30-40 days after planting, or when corn is 4 to 6 inches high. The plastic should start breaking up. You may have to slit it, depending on the weather. The Real Advantage is that if the corn gets to high, you slit it and let it lay. At that point it keeps on putting heat into the soil. Results may vary, no guarantee on breakup time.
