Clean water is a critical part of drip irrigation. Sand media filters are the best choice to remove sand, silt, algae and bulky organic material when using pond or stream water. One-piece, fiberglass reinforced tank with UV resistant surface finish.
Features: Heavy-duty threaded closure, pressure gauge, manual air bleeder valve. Swing-away diffuser allows access to sand and all internal parts. Combination sand and water drain for winterizing. Valves w/plumbing w/ 2" FIPT.
Maximum Pressure 50 psi. Put Pea Gravel in first (on bottom). Sand Filters in Heavier/Higher Pressure (75 PSI) add 10%. Pea Gravel To Be 1/8" to 1/4" Dia. Sand To Be Standard Silica .018 -.022" Particle Size. Wrong media size will result in poor filteration.
