Product Overview
Horticultural grade. Both vermiculite and perlite are used in to prevent soil compaction, improve aeration and retain moisture, but vermiculite acts more like a sponge, holding more water than perlite and offering less aeration. Perlite retains water on its surface, but it is porous and allows excess water to drain more readily than vermiculite and improves soil aeration.
